If your child does not want to read

And the answer usually is "No." And my advise then is "Teach your child how to read." Writing is not just something the hand does. The instructions come from the brain. Children are not born with a reading center in their brain.
They have a center for listening They have a center for speaking But they don't have a center for reading. You need to build the reading center in your child’s brain If you don't They will always struggle with reading And struggle with reading will become struggle with learning. Can parents fight In front of their child?
Yes Because children need to understand that LOVING does not mean AGREEING Two people who love and respect each other can disagree And when they disagree - it is okay for them to express their thoughts. But it is most important for them to learn how to do this the right way. And for that parents need to keep the following things in mind when they fight 1. The purpose of the fight should be to find a SOLUTION 2. There should be NO fighting hitting and meanness 3. The fight must end QUICKLY and the love that exists must be seen in the family right after the fight. Fights Teach children that it is okay to have an opinion and speak up for themselves. ​There are so many myths and misconceptions about baby sleep.
And these are the commonest Can newborns sleep through the night? No If they don't wake to feed when they need it they won't grow Should babies be sleep trained? No Leaving them to cry will affect brain growth and result in huge problems later If you stop breastfeeding will your baby sleep more? No Breastfeeding helps babies to sleep. But can you do anything at all? Yes there are many physiologically appropriate things that you can do. These will help your baby's sleep schedule match yours as they grow. It is best to begin doing these things as soon as your baby arrives. So learn what you can do in advance by attending my prenatal classes. ​What do you do when your child throws a tantrum?
There are parents who shout and punish. I am sure you don't do that. But do you get embarrased? Do you say "sorry" to the adults around you through your expressions as you console your child? I have seen many parents do that. Do you think your child doesn't know that you are embarrassed? They always do. And it makes them sad because they feel like they have been left alone in their difficult time. This results in the tantrum going on and on. Think..... What would you want if you were upset? Would you not want your husband / friend to understand? Would you not feel sad If they were just embarrassed and told you not to cry? Would it not make you feel alone? Would it not hurt that they care more about the world than about you? Place yourself in your child’s shoes and you will know what you need to do to end the tantrum. Is your child always asking for the TV or the phone?
