​There are so many myths and misconceptions about baby sleep.

And these are the commonest 

Can newborns sleep through the night? 
No
If they don't wake to feed when they need it they won't grow

Should babies be sleep trained? 
No
Leaving them to cry will affect brain growth and result in huge problems later

If you stop breastfeeding will your baby sleep more? 
No
Breastfeeding helps babies to sleep.

But can you do anything at all? 

Yes there are many physiologically appropriate things that you can do.

These will help your baby's sleep schedule match yours as they grow.

It is best to begin doing these things as soon as your baby arrives.
