I am thrilled beyond words to see my book in the MOST DOWNLOADED section of the Juggernaut app.

To make it to a list that has books by best selling authors...like....Twinkle Khanna... Rujuta Diwekar.... Osho..... Abhijit Banerjee and many others is HUGE for me.

The book is called

55 Parenting Tips.. For every age and every stage.

It is published by @Juggernaut.in and is available FREE on their app.

Writing the book was a labor of love.

I included a section for the parents of preteens on request.

I also included a section for single parents on request.

Do read it :)

"Oh! My baby doesn't understand anything."

A surprising number of parents believe that babies don't understand anything.

They hold this belief through infancy and Toddlerhood.

And as a result of being treated like they don't understand anything.... Babies become irritable and cranky and start throwing tantrums.

If you are the parent of a baby....remember..... that by the age of 5 months... Your baby's brain is ready to understand logic.

They are able to understand "cause and effect"

They are able to understand explanations about what is happening to them and around them.

And when they are encouraged to understand more and more.... They become calm and
curious instead of anxious and disruptive.

You can play games to expand their ability to understand.

What are these games?

Find out in this video that is part of the video series "How to play with your Baby in the first
year"....that I have created for Morisons Baby Dreams

Are you part of their #SmartMums community yet?

Do join by liking their social media pages.

I often share such nuggets of information there.

It was such an honor to be invited to present my work in "Educating Parents to Control Infections"

At the 2nd World Congress on Infectious Diseases and Antibiotics

The COVID 19 pandemic has shown us how much we need to learn about infection and immunity in order to live healthy lives and to help our children live healthy lives.

It is no longer OK to think - "When I am sick - I will think about illness"

NO. By then it may be TOO LATE.

Information about immunity and the immune system cannot remain confined to medical books and journals

We must learn about immunity - and apply it to build our immune systems.

I have been speaking about this for many years now.

And I spoke about the 10 pronged approach to build immunity and improve health that I have been propagating through my website and social media channels.

Yes. There are 10 things that we must do to change the way we live if we want to protect ourselves from infection.

Nothing else can protect us.

She said she was finding it difficult to live with him.

At an online consultation the other day a mom was almost in tears as she talked about her son and his selfish, self-centered behavior at home.

She said she was finding it difficult to live with him.

She said he just didn’t seem to care about anyone except himself.

And it was becoming impossible for her to tolerate him during the lockdown as she spent all 24 hours of the day with him.

She is not the only one

Many parents who are spending long hours with their children for the first time in our lives

And they are not enjoying the experience too much

What children have been taught to do in the outside world – they are now doing at home

Competing……..giving less and grabbing more….thinking only about themselves….and so on

And of course these are not qualities that make them easy to live with.

What we need from them right now ….is empathy….unselfishness……cooperation……kindness

Qualities that we thought were superfluous and useless.

We need to begin teaching now.

But it is not too late.

Let’s begin.
