​What do you do when your child throws a tantrum? 

There are parents who shout and punish.

I am sure you don't do that.

But do you get embarrased? 

Do you say "sorry" to the adults around you through your expressions as you console your child? 

I have seen many parents do that.

Do you think your child doesn't know that you are embarrassed? 

They always do. 

And it makes them sad because they feel like they have been left alone in their difficult time.

This results in the tantrum going on and on.

Think.....

What would you want if you were upset? 

Would you not want your husband / friend to understand? 

Would you not feel sad If they were just embarrassed and told you not to cry?

Would it not make you feel alone? 

Would it not hurt that they care more about the world than about you? 

Place yourself in your child’s shoes and you will know what you need to do to end the tantrum. 

You need to understand and empathize.
