What if we know what the brain requires to 'learn' and create habits that facilitate learning?20/11/2021 Thank you amazing parents and teachers of Vidyasagar Preschool(@vidyasagar.preschool) for your enthusiastic participation in my #parentingworkshop today.
It fills me with joy when I can help parents understand how their children's brains work... So that they can help their children be the best version of themselves. Habits are a mystery of the brain that have only in recent times been deciphered by scientists. What do habits do? They make our actions effortless and automatic. What if we know what the brain requires to 'learn' and create habits that facilitate learning? That can make learning EFFORTLESS And when learning is effortless - children are sure to fall in love with learning. This is sure to make things really easy for parents who then don't have to keep using the carrot and stick to ensure school learning. But what are these habits? In my workshop I spoke about the 16 habits that - 1. Help the brain to grow 2. Help the brain to learn 3. Help the brain to apply knowledge 4. Help the child to become an independent learner And I loved how parents received the workshop. Very grateful for this opportunity. |
