I missed being in those august historic buildings.

​This morning I was privileged to address the parents of boys who will now forever be called Cottonians. 

I have been conducting a parenting workshop at the Parent Orientation Program at the Bishop Cotton Boy's School(@bishopcotton) for the past several years now. 

It is an event I truly look forward to because I love being on their beautiful campus and soaking in the warmth and love that is showered on me. 

This year was different. 

I missed being in those august historic buildings. 

Everything was virtual. 

But the spirit of determination to overcome all odds was palpable. 

I spoke on what parents can do to ensure effective learning while school is online. 

And the enthusiasm with which the talk was received thrilled me. 

The principal said the workshop was "excellent" - the teachers called the workshop "inspiring" - and parents called the workshop "informative"

I could not possibly have asked for more. 

I feel blessed and grateful today.
