Do you want your child to eat more?

Then stop force feeding your child.

Force feeding makes your child hate food.

Instead focus on increasing your child’s appetite.

Here are 5 ways to do that –

1. Make sure the food has a wonderful aroma when you cook.

The aroma will make your child hungry for the food you are cooking.
Use ghee, cook rice in an open vessel, make hot rotis, use spices like hing, jeera, ajwain etc.

2. Ensure that the food looks good

Don’t serve a colorless mushy mass of food
The human brain is programmed to seek out variety
Add different colored vegetables.
Shape rotis and cutlets with cookie cutters

3. Serve crunchy foods.

If you eat one bite of a crunchy food, it makes you want to eat the next bite.
This is an easy way to increase your child’s appetite.
Serve cucumbers, papad, etc.

4. Encourage self-feeding

When we use our hands to eat, it makes us like the food more.
Wash your child’s hands and allow them to eat with their hands

5. Eat with your child

Watching you eat will make your child hungry
If you chat and laugh while you eat – it will increase your child’s appetite further.

Feeding children is one of the most difficult parts of parenting.
But it doesn’t have to be.

Use these simple techniques to make feeding easier.

Share this so that those who force you to force feed your baby bland and mushy food realize that it should not be done.

Start parenting with neuroscience.
