REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICYEffective Date: 15 June 2026
Thank you for choosing The Parenting Place (operated by Parenting and Health Education Movement). This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms applicable to consultations, coaching programs, workshops, webinars, courses, assessments, training programs, and related services purchased through our website.
By purchasing any service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Consultations1.1 Consultation bookings are non-refundable once payment has been made.
1.2 If you are unable to attend a scheduled consultation, you may request rescheduling by providing at least 24 hours' notice.
1.3 Requests received with less than 24 hours' notice may not be eligible for rescheduling.
1.4 Subject to availability and at the sole discretion of The Parenting Place, one rescheduling request may be considered where sufficient notice is provided.
1.5 No refund, credit, or transfer shall be provided for missed consultations or cancellations initiated by the participant.
2. Workshops, Webinars and Training Programs2.1 Registrations for workshops, webinars, training programs, and in-person events are non-refundable once payment has been made.
2.2 If a participant is unable to attend a workshop, webinar, training program, or in-person event, they may nominate another participant to attend in their place, provided prior notice is given before the commencement of the program.
2.3 The Parenting Place reserves the right to decline a nomination where reasonably necessary, including where the replacement participant does not meet eligibility requirements or where administrative or operational constraints apply.
2.4 No refund, credit, or rescheduling shall be provided for non-attendance, late attendance, partial attendance, or participant-initiated cancellation.
3. Online Courses and Digital Content3.1 All payments made for online courses, whether self-paced, pre-recorded, live, instructor-led, cohort-based, or conducted through scheduled sessions, are non-refundable.
3.2 No refunds shall be available once payment has been made, irrespective of whether course materials, recordings, worksheets, resources, links, or other content have been shared, accessed, or utilized.
3.3 No refunds shall be available for live online courses, workshops, webinars, or programs, regardless of whether the program has commenced.
3.4 No refunds, credits, transfers, or rescheduling shall be provided once an online course or digital program has been purchased.
4. Assessments4.1 Once an assessment has been purchased, initiated, completed, reviewed, or delivered, no refund shall be available.
5. Cancellation by Us5.1 In the unlikely event that we cancel a consultation, workshop, webinar, course, assessment, training program, or other service, participants will be offered one of the following options:
a. Rescheduling to a future date; or
b. A full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled service.
5.2 Approved refunds shall be processed using the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.
6. Technical Issues6.1 Refund requests arising from technical issues shall be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
6.2 Where a technical issue prevents reasonable access to a purchased service and cannot be resolved, we may offer an alternative session, replacement access, or refund at our discretion.
7. Processing of Refunds7.1 Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed within 7–14 business days, subject to banking and payment gateway timelines.
7.2 Actual credit timelines may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.
8. Exceptional Circumstances8.1 We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise.
8.2 Requests falling outside this Policy may be reviewed at our sole discretion.
8.3 Approval of an exception in one instance shall not create an obligation to approve similar requests in the future.
9. Policy Prevails9.1 In the event of any inconsistency between promotional material, website content, communications, advertisements, or other representations and this Refund & Cancellation Policy, this Policy shall prevail.
