Stop giving instructions
if you want to make your child intelligent and Independent

Children do not become intelligent by constantly being told what to do.

The brain grows through thinking, trying and figuring things out.

1. To become intelligent, children need chances to think.
But when adults solve every problem and direct every step,
the brain gets fewer opportunities to build problem-solving pathways.
This blocks the development of intelligence 

2. To become independent, children need to learn how to make decisions
Being able to make a choice builds confidence and self-trust.
But constant instructions train children to wait for directions instead of thinking for themselves
This blocks the development of independence

To build intelligence and independence
Don’t give instructions immediately.
Pause before stepping in.

The brain grows when children get time to think.
Wait before helping.
A few extra seconds of struggle builds stronger problem-solving pathways in the brain.

Ask instead of telling.
“What do you think you should do?”
Questions activate thinking. Instructions end it.
Children grow through thinking.
Not constant instructions.
