There are 5 kinds of PLAY that make your baby a QUICK LEARNER

1. Physical play
Your child will become a QUICK LEARNER when they move around and explore.
Encourage - running, jumping, climbing and crawling

2. Object play
Your child will become a QUICK LEARNER when they are good at problem solving.
Encourage your child to play with objects like building blocks, kitchen sets, cars etc.
Playing with objects requires constant problem solving. and will make your child good at problem solving.

3. Water play
Your child will become a QUICK LEARNER when they can focus
Encourage your child to play with water - because children can stay focused without getting distracted for hours when they are playing with water.
Playing with water will increase their attention span and build their focus.

4. Turn taking play
Your child will become a QUICK LEARNER when they can remember.
Encourage your child to play games where they have to wait for their turn because it will mean that they will have to remember what they have to do until their turn comes.
This will improve their memory

5. Pretend play
Your child will become a QUICK LEARNER when they can imagine.
Encourage your child to imagine that a cup is a car and so on during pretend play.
This will help your child to imagine that the letters c-a-t stand for a furry animal that mews (a cat) and help them to learn how to read.

If you feel your child is not interested in learning – don’t teach them more - just give them a chance to play.

Play is extremely important for learning because it builds the brain and makes learning easier and faster

This is neuroscience in action

Share this - so that those who scold your child for playing – see this and realize how wrong they are and change themselves.

Start PARENTING with NEUROSCIENCE if you are committed to BRAIN BUILDING. That is what will make your child a QUICK LEARNER
