The KBC kid was taught that ANSWERS are more important than QUESTIONS and that was the problem

Believing that answers are more important than questions is problematic.

Because when we focus only on answers --

1. It creates anxiety — what if you don’t know the answer?
2. It compromises empathy — you can’t truly listen when your mind is busy preparing to respond.
3. It confines learning— not knowing starts to feel like failure instead of curiosity.
4. It limits creativity — because the need to be right kills the desire to explore.
5. It blocks collaboration — discussions turn into debates, not discoveries.
6. It reduces resilience — mistakes feel threatening instead of enlightening.
7. It weakens connection — every conversation becomes a competition for who knows more.

For generations now we have been teaching children that they need to know the right answers
And we have been shutting them down when they ask questions

But we must stop

We can evolve only when we ask questions
That is why toddlers and teenagers are programmed by nature to ask questions
We must stop shutting them down

As the world changes rapidly – we must acknowledge that there are no right answers

As AI becomes omnipresent – we must recognize that asking the right questions is the only way to get the right answers.

As uncertainty becomes the new normal – we must accept that adaptability matters more than accuracy and for that the first prerequisite is curiosity

Parenting needs to change if we want to build FUTURE READY BRAINS
We need to discard old beliefs and focus on building better brains
And for that we need to start Parenting with Neuroscience.

I am conducting a LIVE online course for the parents of 8- to 18-year-olds on weekends in December called "Neuroscience Tools for Parenting Teens and Preteens"
Sharing details in comments. Do let me know if you would like to join.
