​Stop calling your active child HYPERACTIVE

Your child is not trying to be disturb you.
Your child is trying to calm down

Get your child a swing
Rhythmic movement can make a child feel steadier and calmer.

Arrange for your child to climb
The “heavy work” improves focus and reduces impulsive behaviour.

Encourage Water play
The constant touch and gentle resistance to the whole body is soothing.
It helps the nervous system slow down and settle.

Share this with someone who criticizes your child and calls them “HYPER”

Let them understand that your child is not being BAD – they are trying to GROW THEIR BRAIN
