If you want your child to be healthy – the best thing to do is to cook yourself.

But you are busy.

And don’t have time.

What can you do to cook really fast?

Here are 5 tips –

1. Tip 1 – Make a menu
A lot of time is wasted in thinking about “What to cook”
When you make a menu – it saves a lot of time.
It is a good idea to make a menu for each meal for the whole week on the weekend

2. Tip 2 – Arrange all the ingredients
Having the ingredients ready and accessible saves a lot of time
Once you have the menu – decide on the recipes you will use.
Then check if you have all the ingredients.
Once you have all the ingredients arrange them so that they are easily accessible when you cook.

3. Use a food processor
A food processor cuts, grates, mixes and does all the time-consuming tasks for you.

4. Cook with all the appliances simultaneously
Use a a gas stove with 3 or 4 burners and use all of them at once. Use the microwave and the air fryer while you are cooking on the gas so that some cooking happens automatically.
Plan the menu carefully to distribute the tasks between appliances.

5. Cook all the meals at the same time
Once you are in the kitchen – cook all the meals for the day at once. To make it feel like the food has just been cooked – give the dishes a finishing touch like tempering (tadka) just before serving.
