Excessive screen time affects brain development.

But how can you tell if your child is getting too much screen time?

Look out for these 3 signs.

These are the first signs that appear before screen time begins to impact brain development.

When these signs appear – take urgent action and reduce your child’s screen time.

Sign 1 –

Your child is sleepy during the day

One of the most important things a child needs for brain development is enough SLEEP
If your child is sleepy during the day – they are probably not sleeping enough during the night.

If this is due to use of devices then reduce Device use urgently

Sign 2 –

Your child is unhappy and cranky when they are not on the mobile or TV

This shows that your child is unable to tolerate the slow pace and boredom of the real world and constantly needs entertainment.

This is an obstacle to brain development because – the brain grows when new neural connections are strengthened by repetition.

When children get used to constant entertainment, they cannot endure the boredom of repetition.

The lack of repetition can affect brain growth

Sign 3 –

Your child is not able to focus

Focus is essential for brain development because it opens the gates of the brain and helps the brain to learn faster.

When a child is not able to focus, their learning is slow, incomplete and inaccurate. This results in the child losing interest in learning because it is too difficult.

Are you seeing these signs in your child?

Type NO MORE and reduce your child’s screen time right now

Do not allow excessive screen time to affect your child’s brain development.

Share this with others who do not know of these danger signs and allow their children screen time even when these signs are visible
