If you are feeling DRAINED with parenting – you are probably in the trap of DISTRACTING YOURSELF by DOING.
Doing everything that parenting requires us to do is exhausting – but it feels so good that it often becomes addictive.

It feels good because it proves our love, assuages our guilt, makes us feel important, relieves the anxiety of uncertainty and so on.
But it leaves us feeling drained because – in our hearts we know that we are feeling good at the cost of our children.

Doing too much for children – robs them of their self-esteem
Giving children too much – robs them of their patience
Entertaining children too much - robs them of their creativity
Overprotecting children – robs them of their confidence
Planning too much for children – robs them of their ability to make decisions

Children damaged by OVER-PARENTING cannot be fixed by classes and apps and toys.

Children grow and become the best versions of themselves when we embrace RELAXED PARENTING.
Do you agree?

Do you want to shift to relaxed parenting – but are you pressurized by friends and family to continue with intensive over-parenting?
Do share.
