Do your childâs tantrums go on and on.
Then you could be making these 3 mistakes â Mistake 1 â You get angry When you get angry your child gets sacred and the tantrum increases. Stay calm Stay near your child Bend down Speak softly and lovingly This will reduce your childâs fear and the tantrum will stop Mistake 2 â You get embarrassed When you get embarrassed, your child feels that you care about other people more than them. This makes them sad and the tantrum increases Stay quiet for a while and just listen When your child makes eye contact â say âI understandâ When your child feels understood the tantrum will stop Mistake 3 â You ignore your child When you ignore your child â your child feels disconnected with you Your childâs connection with you is like their oxygen supply. When your child loses connection with you, they panic and the tantrum increases. Stay close Listen Offer a hug Hold them and comfort them When your child feels connected with you the tantrum will stop. Tantrums that go on for a long time can have a negative impact on your childâs development. Do not keep parenting the OLD WAY if you want to build a FUTURE READY BRAIN for your child.
