The other day an expecting couple in their 9th week of pregnancy approached me for an online nutrition consultation. They were in extreme distress.
The expecting mom was ravenously hungry almost all the time.
But as soon as she took a few bites of food she started feeling extremely queasy and threw up.
Of course this was a crazy situation.
And to combat this she was trying to keep herself on fluids.
But that wasn’t working.
As soon as she drank something – she would throw up.
So we worked on a strategy to keep the nausea down.
Avoid DRINKING – eat.
Eat something crunchy which requires you to munch on it a good bit before you swallow.
And that worked like magic for them.
